My name is Maxwell, call me Max, trust me it's just easier for everyone involved. In my personal life, I am a powerlifter and coffee snob. In my professional life, I am a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a strength coach that way instead of just being a gym rat I'm an expert gym rat. My Story
When I was starting grade 12, I knew one thing for sure: I wanted a career in health and fitness. I’d already been training for four years and loved every minute of it. But, like any 19-year-old with an underdeveloped frontal lobe, I hesitated. I didn’t think you could make it in the fitness world without a hefty dose of luck, so I decided to play it safe.
I went on to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition at the University of Guelph, and then earned my stripes through a dietitian internship at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University. Now, I can officially call myself a Registered Dietitian. Ironically, I ended up starting the business I was too scared to launch before school—halfway through my undergrad—and I’ve been running with it ever since.
Training has been a part of my life for over a decade now, and for almost three years, I’ve been coaching others to achieve their fitness goals. Along the way, I’ve encountered a lot of misinformation—BS that clouds the health and fitness industry because fear sells. But what I’ve learned is that with the right information, dedication, and a solid plan, you can absolutely crush your fitness goals over time. It’s not about quick fixes or fads; it’s about consistency and making informed choices.
That’s why I’m so passionate about what I do. My mission—my vendetta, even—is to cut through the noise and provide as many people as possible with the truth about health and fitness. I’m here to offer practical, evidence-based guidance that actually works, without the gimmicks or shortcuts. Whether you're an athlete aiming to boost performance or just someone trying to feel better and live healthier, I’m committed to helping you get there.
